fill/back color not working

removed and reinstalled office 2002 xp professional.

The fill/back color turns the correct color but the related design view
sections stay grey.

Data based moved to other machines wooks fine. Edits work fine. Seem to be
only this dell 8500.

Tried all the tool bar resets as well, no joy.

Any .dll etc need resetting?
