Fill down menu

Hi

I have a problem with excel (v.X latest version, Panther). If I copy a
formula from one cell to the other the solution displayed is the one
from the original cell. If I then select the formula of the new cell and
enter "enter" the correct result is displayed. This happens no matter
what I do (if I drag the formula, or if I copy it, or use the Fill Down
menu).

I think your Calculation is set to "Manual".

In the "Preferences", "Calculation" tab, set the calculation back to
"Automatic". This should do it.
