Fill other fields based on dropdown list choice

I have a InfoPath form (Data1) that has a repeating table with three columns
and a text box in each.

In another form (Report1) I want to use a dropdown listbox to choose the
data in the first column of Data1 and have the data in the second and third
columns of Data1 filled into two text boxes in Report1.

I thought the Master/Detail would be the way to go but I cannot seem to
figure it out.

I am using InfoPath 2003.

Where are you storing the dat from Data1?

You would need to submit this to a database, or SharePoint list, or XML.
Then the other form could use it as a data source.

Possibly you could combine it into one form and have two views, one to
update the data and one to use it? It depends on your data but typically you
would have your main form and then supplemental forms to update its source
data but the source data would be kept in a common location.

OK, my bad...Data1 is the XML document. It contains three pieces of data per
row hence the three columns. In Report1 I would like a dropdown listbox to
let me choose from the first column of Data1 and then subsequently fill in
the other two pieces of data in two text boxes below that dropdown.

Does this help?
