When I enter Nov-25-2009 and Nov-26-2009 in cells and then do fill right the
year changes to 2010 is there a way to change only the date and not the
year?

If you go past Dec 31, 2009 the year will change.

Or does the 2009 change immediately?

Are Nov-25-2009 and Nov-26-2009 real dates?

If text, Excel will increment the 2009 to 2010, 2011, 2012 etc.

In a helper cell enter =ISNUMBER(cellref) where cellref is one of the
cells with a date.

TRUE or FALSE?

If FALSE, the dates are text...........fix them.
