Fill series (weeks)

How do I fill a series of cells.
Dates, 1 week apart.
When I highlight it auto fills just a day apart.

I require 1/2/13, 8/2/13 ,15/2/13 and so on.
When I attempt it I get 1/2/13, 8/2/13, 9/2/13, 10/2/13, 11/2/13
(highlighting from 8/2/13)

A1: 1/2/13
A2: 8/2/13

Select both cells and copy down.

select the range A2:A3 and pull down
