filling field in a table

Hi group,
I have a table with ID's and Names. When I initially
created the table I had all ID's and 75% of the names. Now
I got the list with all names. Is there a way to populate
the names without doing it one by one. It's a huge
database with over a million records. Paste command works
only for individual cell, otherwise it could have been a
solution.

That will depend on what form your list takes, and whether your "name" list
includes ID #s.

Take a look at Access HELP on an "update" query, if your list can be
imported as a table into Access (or linked to), and if it includes
associated ID#s.
