Filling in a Shape

I drew 4 lines in the shape of a Trapezoid, trimmed them and tried to fill
it, but to no avail it wouldn't fill. What am I missing here?

Hello Larry,

If you drew the lines and then used the Trim shape operation you'll have
ended up with four single 1D shapes (assuming you deleted the ends that you
don't want). To create a fillable single 2D shape, select your four lines
and then click Shape / Operations / Join and you can then apply a fill.
