Filling out form without InfoPath

Say it ain't so! I have browsed through the database and it appears that an
end-used cannot fill out your forms unless they, too, have InfoPath! Is this
true? Is there no 'viewer?' I am trying to distribute electronic surveys
via e-mail and was sooo pleased to come across InfoPath just to find out that
the end forms are not accessible to my customers! Anyway the two band-aid
solutions that I have seen involving butchering the form publish or using a
3rd party program seems really cumbersome. Is there no other solution? Can
anyone suggest a different program, then, for someone that wants to make
electronic surveys/forms?

did you find any solution for this filling out of infopat with out
actually having informat installed on the machine.

As far as I have been able to see, it is possible though your form users
still need to have a 3rd party product installed, like infoviewer. All
solutins still seem to be a little more convuluted than necessary.
