Filling Word Template with Access Data

I am using Access 2003 and want to create a command button(or any way) that
will bring Word up and prefill template fields with the data on the current
record in my database. I used to know how to do this with the old Access back
in the late 90's, but I have tried for hours (and days) and can't figure it
out. Can anyone help?
