Filter By Form and locked fields

When I select filter by form, I can enter filter arguments
only on unlocked fields. How can I get the fields
unlocked long enough to enter filter arguments, and then
relock them after the filter is applied?

Hi Bill,

If the controls are *enabled* and locked you should be able to use them for
filter by form.
