Sorry to repost but I cannot work this out. Can anyone come up with a
suggestion?
I have a main form based on Table1. The form has a tab control of three
pages. Each page has a subform based on a different table ie subform1 based
on Table2, subform2 based on Table3 and subform3 based on Table4. I want the
user to be able to use the Filter By Form facility in Access but this does
not work when trying to select controls on the main form AND the subforms in
the same filter. I have looked at Allen Browne's help screen on this (thanks
Allen for that pointer) but that seems to only cater with one control on the
sub forms whereas there could be say 1 control on the main form and say 2
controls on the subforms. The users do not yet have the ability to run
queries themselves so I wondered is there was a way to use the Filter in the
way I describe?
TIA

PS I'm a newbie with VBA so if that's the route simple steps would be
appreciated.
