I have two separate, unrelated Access 2000 databases.
In the first database when I invoke 'Filter by Form', clicking in a text box
changes it to a combo box with the choice of "Is Null" or "Is Not Null".
This is exactly what I want.
In the second database however, clicking in a text box also changes it to a
combo box, but instead of the "Is Null" or "Is Not Null", it produces a
combo box loaded with all the possible choices for that field, even email
addresses and other fields that I would never select from a list.
Is there a logical reason for the different behaviors? Is there a way to
make the second database behave like the first one?
Thanks for any help.
