Filter confused

In my query, I would like to run a formula or filter so
only the month picked would show for the "followupdate"
column. The dates are formatted as mm/dd/yyyy. I've gone
through past posts and I'm completely confused... Keep in
mind I'm a basic user...

Please Help me!
