Filter for all tasks (Using Resource)

Hello,

I am currently using Microsoft Project 2002. I used to be able to go to:

Project Menu
Filter For All Tasks
Using Resource (and then pick from a drop down list)

and see all our resouces. We have since rolled up several smaller files into a master project, and now I am not able to do this in the master plan, but I am able to do it in the smaller individual files. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Another interesting twist is that while the drop down menu shows nothing (in the master plan) I can type in a name (i.e. Steve Jones) and it will then filter - it just won't show the names on the drop down.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

Hello Justin,

I don't know how are organized your master project and your individual
projects (do you use Project Server ?) but I guess that your Master Project
don't share the resource pool :
In the Master Project, do the following:
Tolls / Resource Sharing / Share resources... / Use resources From....

Hope this helps,
