Hello, I am creating a Filter screen for our salesman
quote program using Access 2000. My question concerns
dropdown boxes. If you fill a drop down based on a query
is it possible to populate it with a query but leave the
dropdown empty? And when the user depresses the search
button it will act as if it chooses all records.
When the user depresses the search button it will open a
the search result form based on the information that is
in the filter screen I created.
Catagories in the filter screen:
Customer Name
Contact Name
Quote Number
Job Name
If values are inputted for these catagories it will query
the search form. But if any our left blank I need it to
pass to the query bound to the search form something to
tell it to select all.
If anyone needs more explanation please ask. I can do
this through a lot of repetitive code and am curious if
there is a more efficient way of doing this.
Thank You
