Using Project Server 2007 + SP1 + Infrastructure Update + December 2008
Cumulative Update.
We've created a new Resource Plan view (in Server Settings -> Manage Views)
for our Resource Managers and enabled the feature "Filter Resources to user's
RBS branch". Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work as I had expected. When
the resource managers opens an existing resource plan (using our new Resource
Plan view) they can still see resources that are not managed by themselves,
i.e. they can see resources from "wrong" RBS branches. Maybe I've missed
something when I set up permissions for the resource managers, but if it's
supposed to work like this then what's the point with the "Filter Resources
to user's RBS branch" checkbox? Can anyone please help me with this, I
really need to know how it's supposed to work.
