Filtered Lists

I am looking for a formula that would pull the values from
cells in a filtered list based on its position in the
list. For example, I would like to be able to pull the
value of the tenth item (from top to bottom) within the
filtered list. Depending upon the filter, the tenth item
down in the filtered list could be located in a number of
different cell values, and I can't figure out how to get
excel to only look at the filtered list (and not the
entire list of data) and give me the the tenth (or
whatever item) I am looking for. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.
