filtered resource work

Each functional manager (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.) wants to
review the work hours planned for each phase of the project, with summary
rollup for just the group of interest. I can view Task Usage and filter for
one resource group, but the rollups show hours for all reesources. Is there
a way to show task usage with work for just one category shown, with rollups
for just that category?
I am using Project Pro 2003 with Project Server 2003 and PWA.
Is there an alternative way to show subset resource hours within the WBS?

Try the grouping feature (Project, Group By, More Groups, etc.

Thanks, but not quite what I need. This post got me into grouping, where I
haven't been before, and grouping by resource group does separate the
resources and rolls up their work hours, but what my group managers want is
to preserve the WBS structure, but show only one Resource Group with rollups
of hours for ONLY that group.

(without programming that is)

That's what I was afraid of. I've searched everywhere I can think of without
any luck. I think I'll start putting my effort into finding an alternative.
