"Filtered" Subprojects

Is there a way to have a master project file link only to specific tasks
within a subproject (for instance, only display tasks with specific values
stored in Task.Text1 for example)?

A master project is just a shell which holds other project files. It either
holds the whole thing or nothing. However, once you open the master, you can
simply run a filter and achieve what you want. The filter has to be present
in the master file.

Thanks Jack. I'd assumed that was the case, but wanted to be sure before I
started down a dead-end development path.
