Filtering by JobNumber

Hello. i am designing project time database for my company. I have several
problems that i cannot solve.
Here is a ss of database.

The first problem as you see on the form i created a drop down menu and bind
that menu to title field of Project Time Database. As you see drop down shows
one job number 4 times because there is four entry for that job number on the
job time database. I want to see job numbers only one time on that drop down
menu.

Secondly as you see on the form i ahve a text box named Total Work Hours.
This text box is gonna show the total work hours for jobs. So in that example
i should be able to pick one number from the drop down menu (70123 for this
example), and infopath should get the job hours for job number that i choose
(4, 3, 2, 1.5 for this example) and after infopath should sum the work hours
up and put the total on the total work hours text box (10.5 for this example).

I hope i am clear enough. So do you have any suggestions according my
requirements?

You need to use the preceding-sibling syntax to check if any preceeding
nodes match your current node and if so then hide. You can find good help on
such advanced XPath formulas from this page:
