Filtering in a form

I'm having a problem. I am needing to create a filter in a form. I am using
Access 2000 and I am having difficulty acheving this. What i would like to be
able to do is:

On the form, I have a customer name and an Equipment Type. I want to be able
to click on a customer and a certain Equipment Type and when I click Submit,
I want to have the information from another table filtered giving me only
information on the certain Equipment Type I chose and its description.

I am not an expert whosoever in VB coding. If anyone would be able to help
me, I would greatly appreciate it.
