Filtering projects from timesheet

I have created a project status field with value "Archived" in one of the
Enterprise Project Outline fields and have filtered the Archived projects out
of the Project views.

However, the resources can still see them and log hours against these
archived projects.

How do I filter the projects out of the timesheet? Do I have to filter the
project from every Task view?
