financial functions not in 2002

The 1997 version of Excel had an additional six financial
functions that I cannot locate in the 2002 version. They
are, EFFECT, XIRR, XNPV, YIELD, YIELDDISC and YIELDMAT.
Are they available in 2002 and how do I get to them?

Open excel, do tools>add-ins and check Analysis ToolPak (ATP), keep the
office/excel cd handy and follow the instructions
