Find A Contact

We have been using Outlook 2000 for a few years now. There
is one feature that has never worked and it is becoming
incresingly frustrating. When clicking on the "Find a
contact" field next to the address book icon, it
immediately comes up with "Outlook has caused an error in
MSO9.DLL. Outlook will now close. If you continue to
experience problems, try restarting your computer."
Obviously we have restarted the computer, re-installed the
programs from the disc (several times), but always with
the same result. We have used Outlook 1997 previously and
Outlook 2002 on another computer and these work OK. Any
suggestions? I assume it is a software problem but refuse
to pay for a Microsoft Professional to help if it is.

Many thanks Russ, but the link you gave doesn't seem to
be working.

If you use the Quick Find feature to search for an Address Book entry or a
contact, when you use the Most Recently Used (MRU) list
