This question is about find and replace box in a database held in a server and accessed by several computers with different versions of Microsoft Windows operating system, I hope I am explicit enough.
In the control “Find What†I enter a string,
In the control “Look in†I choose the default options of fields for where to look on,
In the control “Match†I choose the option “Any Part of Fieldâ€.
When clicking in “find next†it does find the matching string in computers working on Windows 98 but it does not work on Windows 2000 or Windows XP unless the you click on the desired field and THEN click on find and replace.
Does anyone know how I can make this work in both Windows 2000 and Windows XP? How come it works on Windows 98 but it doesn’t work on Windows 2000 and Windows XP?
I hope I have been explicit enough. If not, please ask for more explanations, as I would really appreciate the help given.
