Find and Replace - found selection positioning

K

After finding stuff, it is selected highlighted, prompting for my action. But
it's always positioned on top of the page... I can't see the lines before it,
unless I focus back on the document window and scroll back a few... which is
annoyingly bothersome after 20 times. Is there a way for us to control where
the highlighted selection to be positioned in relative to the page? In the
center of the page (vertically center), for example? Thanks for any pointers!

As far as I know there is no way to control this. Word tries to scroll the
document to bring the found text into view; exactly how it does it depends,
in part, on the position of the dialogue box. Whilst it sometimes doesn't
manage things very well, I think you are somewhat unlucky if you have twenty
successive such failures.

You might be better able to work with this if you dismiss the dialogue after
the first Find, and use the 'browse' buttons (below the vertical scroll bar)
for repeat find operations.
