Find and Replace - Multiple files

Ramakrishnan Rajamani

I have multiple directories within which there are multiple files (various
types like .doc, .docx, .htm, .xls etc). My objective is to find and replace
a text by another text in all the word documents. Is there any way of
finding and replacing a particular text with another text without having to
open each individual file within the directories. Help in this regard is
much appreciated.

I am extremely sorry if it is a REPOST and already answered elsewhere.
Appreciate if someone can point me to the answers or provide me with solution.
