Find and replace text between symbols.

I have a large file with coding and I will be doing this weekly. I want to replace all the text between symbols See example. And I don't want to just highlight and delete...there is too much text.

This is the following text paragraph.

<*rb0><f"Helvetica"Pz7><cK><*kn0><*kt(A)><*p(0, 0, 0, 8, 0, 0)><*L>NOTICE UNDER ASSUMED BUSINESS NAME ACT<\n>COUNTY OF SMITH<\n>TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:<\n>Notice is hereby given that on the 16TH DAY OF JANUARY 2008 a Certificate of Ownership of business was filed in the Office of the County Clerk of Smith County, stating that<\n>LISA Doe<\n>Intend to transact, or are transacting business in Smith County, under the fictitious name to wit: <\n>ONE-L GROUP<\n>And that is/are the sole Owner(s) and Proprietor(s) of said business; and that the principal place of said business is located <\#13><*rb(.15, 0, K, 100%, 0, 0, .015)><*p(0,0,0,8.5,0,0)>

I need it to appear like the following

NOTICE UNDER ASSUMED BUSINESS NAME ACT COUNTY OF SMITH TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that on the 16TH DAY OF JANUARY 2008 a Certificate of Ownership of business was filed in the Office of the County Clerk of Smith County, stating that LISA DOE Intend to transact, or are transacting business in Smith County, under the fictitious name to wit: ONE-L GROUP And that is/are the sole Owner(s) and Proprietor(s) of said business; and that the principal place of said business is located.

OK, this is the kind of thing Word was designed to do :)

There are three approaches, and you need to choose the one that best suits
your purpose.

1) Find/Replace with Wild Cards

2) Document Property fields

3) Data merge.

A Find/replace is good if you are being provided with the whole text of the
document by another application. It has the limitation that you need to
have different placeholders for each piece of variable text.

Document Property fields are great if you want to enter the variable
information by hand. You can build an electronic Form that will prompt for
the variable information and enable someone to fill each piece in once only,
then insert it wherever it's needed. It has the limitation that someone has
to type the variable information. You only have to type each name once, but
you have to type it for each document.

Data merge is excellent if the variable information is coming to you in a
file already. It has the limitation that it takes more work to set it up
and ensure that it will operate reliably with all variations of the variable
data. But producing the finished result can become a single click of a
button if you get it right!

Read the following Word help topics, then choose which method suits your
circumstances best, and come back here. We can then talk you through
setting it up:

* Find and replace text
* http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm (Greg has a great tutorial:
look for the heading "Online Forms")
* Create a form letter by using the Mail Merge Manager

Sadly, the topic of "Fields" has not yet made it into the Word 2008 help.
It's one of the most powerful tools in Word, so I am sure they'll get it up
soon.

If you are doing what I think you are doing, my pick would be the last
option, using Mail Merge (or Data Merge, depending on your version of Word).

When you come back, don't forget to tell us which Operating System and
Version of Word you are using. It rather constrains the options available
:)

Hope this helps
