Find and Replace

I recently imported an ACT database into Contacts, and
when I did all the phone numbers came over with a prefix
of "+1 ". Can someone tell me how to do a global
Find/Replace in Contacts so I can eliminate the prefix?
Or do I have to run a macro? If so, does someone have a
macro I can start with?
