Find and Replace

Does anyone know how to resolve this? When I go to "find
and replace" in any Word document, a new, blank, Word
window opens. This prevents me from doing any word
searches in the document I attempt to search. Any ideas?

Thanks a million!

Are you using the Ctrl+H shortcut to open Find and Replace? Possibly it has
been reassigned to FileNewDefault (Ctrl+N).

I wish it were that simple. I checked the keyboard
command, and it's still set to Ctrl+F. Also, it does this
when I do Edit to Find. Thanks for trying!

Go to Tools | Macro | Macros and see if there is a macro named EditFind. If
so, delete it, as it is hijacking the Find command.
