Find and Replace

Everytime I start typing in Word a dialog box pops up with "Find and
Replace". This happens like every two key strokes and it is driving me
crazy! HELP!!

Hi Katy,

Please always state your OS and Word/Office version numbers when posting, so
you get the most useful responses!

Assuming you're in Word 2004, I'm going to guess that it's a problem with
Damaged Preferences or your Normal Template. For instructions on how to
test both, see here:

(If using Safari, hit Refresh once or twice; better yet, use another browser

If it's neither of those two, you'll find other troubleshooting suggestions

Here's another guess - Could you by any chance be hitting the Cmd key
while typing the letters "f" or "r"? You may be accidentally triggering
the keyboard shortcuts for those features.
