find duplicate in last 100 records

I need a message to appear on a form if the [Container#] matches within the
last 100 records [REF#].

Msgbox to read "This container was used on [REF#] - Verify Container Number
or modify your entry".

The user than should be able to acept the duplicate or change the
[Container#] data.

I assume this will be in the "After Update" event.

Help please.
