find emails

Hi

I was wondering if there was a way to search all folders in outlook at once?
I filed away some sent emails and now they have disappeared, does anyone
have any tips on how to find them again?
are there backups somewhere i could look for or something?
(this is outlook at work - there are tons of folders and subfolders to earch
through at once)

What version of Outlook are you using? Outlook 2007 and 2010 have Instant
Search Capability. Older versions can use Advanced Search (Tools menu, as I
recall) to do it.

What operating system are you running?

If you're running an older version then you should look at either Windows
Desktop Search or Google Desktop or Copernic Desktop; any of which allow you
to search across the entire mailbox I believe.
