Find function in Outlook

The search function in Outlook 2007 seems non-existent at present. With
Outlook 2003 I used to be able to click "Find", type in a keyword and find
all email messages that might have that word in the header or text. It made
it easy to find a receipt for a purchase that I made six months ago. With
Outlook 2007 all I get is "No results found".

Are you using the desktop search engine? If so, did you want several hours
for the index to get built?

Advanced find should find it, just as before.

FWIW, Advanced Find is broken on my OL2007 machine, just as search isn't working.
