find if office 97 is installed

2000 laptop toshiba 1625 cdt has word, access, excell, powerpoint, outlook,
binder, all 97 versions. I can find office 97 program but can't tell if
fully installed. Trying to figure out if programs are bundled or not. I
want to get office standard 2003 but do not know whether to get upgrade or
full version?

Hi A.J.,

Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel
to see if there is a Microsoft Office 97 listing there,
or you can have the Office 97 CD available when installing
the upgrade edition of Office 2003. (Best to have one
of the qualifying product's CD around, as it may be needed
at some point in the future to reinstall Office 2003
