Find line of text

H

Harry Bronfield

Is there a way to find a line of text instead of just a phrase? For
instance, in the document that I'm searching, let's say that "XYZ"
occurs as both "XYZ -- ABC" and as "XYZ" on a line by itself. I need
to find the XYZ on a line by itself. I'm using a wildcard in my
search, because I'm searching for material between quotes. Any ideas?

To find the end of a line when Wildcards are turned on, you can use ^13,
assuming we're talking about a paragraph mark.
I'm not sure how to find the beginning of the line, other than to assume
it's preceded by another ^13. So you might search for ^13XYZ^13
That will include the prior paragraph mark - not sure if that's a problem
for you or not.
