Find messages in a certain date range within Outlook 2007

S

Sabo, Eric

This is a probably simple but I cannot figure it out. I am using Outlook
2007 in non-cache mode with desktop search installed. How can I find
messages in certain date ranges on the entire mailbox? An example would be
find all message with dates of 12/20/2008 thru 12/31/2008

Thanks in advanced

You'll need to use a Filter for this. Right-click an empty area of the
contents pane and then click Filter. You'll need to use the Advanced tab to
enter a date range.

If you need to repeat the search then right-click Search Folders, click "New
Search Folder", and create a Custom search. The dialog box for your criteria
is similar to the Filter dialog box.
