Find Now button in Outlook explorer UI

How do I hook into the "Find Now" button in the Oulook explorer? It is
located in the "toolbar" that results from clicking the "Find" button in the
standard toolbar, and is located just above the Inbox and preview views.

I need a way to get a handle on that button, or the "Look for" text box.
Either way, I haven't been able to figure out how to access that area of the
UI.

Thanks.

Hi

So far I am researching the issue, and I will update you ASAP.
Can you tell us why you need to access to the area?

Thanks.

Hi Peter,
I'd like access to the search UI because I'd like to know when the user
performs a search, and the advanced_search_complete event only fires for
searches performed programmatically.
Thank you for looking into this. I appreciate it.

Hi

Based on my research, it seems that the windows is not a toolbar. It is a
portion of the Explorer windows, even if we close all the toolbar, it is
still there.
It seems that the "Find Now" button even is not a window. Even we use
spy++, we can not get the windows handler of the "Find Now" button.

If you still have any concern, I think you may try to contact MSPSS
directly to see if they have any other idea.

Thanks for your understanding!
