I want to be able to take 2 columns and list the common
values in a 3rd row. The 2 columns are lists of names.
I tried using Lookup(A2,C2:C1300) with both columns sorted
in ascending order but it doesnt turn in the correct
response. If a name in columne A matches a name in column
B I want that name to appear in column D. Any help is
appreciated.

I would do this. In D2

=if(iserror(vlookup(c2,$a2:$a1300,1,"false")),"",vlookup
(c2,$a2:$a1300,1,"false"))

copy it into all the cell in column D (D21300 by the
looks of it)
