File > Save As

(you can see the path in the resulting dialog box)

Thank you Peter. Seems like a strange way for Microsoft to design it, but it
works, and that's the main thing! Since getting your reply, I discovered
that when using Copernic Desktop search, upon locating the file, it shows
the path as well.

Where do you want it? There is a control code to insert the path into
the document. There is a document property available to VBA. Maybe
others.

No, I was just finding myself in a fix with a document opening, not knowing
the path where it came from.
