"Find Related" Feature within any "Address Book" Contact Notworking

Anthony Alexis

Hi Entourage Group,

When I try to "Find Related" by using this feature within any contact listed
in my 'Address Book" , I see a blank new "Search Results" menu screen
appear, then at the bottom right hand corner it shows the area for a growing
blue bar to appear/grow, where it only shows a little of the blue bar, then
it disappears (like its finished) and I'm left with a blank "Search Results"
menu screen.

I¹ve tried with different Address Book Contacts, and sometimes Entourage
will crash, so I¹ve have to restart it.
It does recover any emails I¹m half way through.

I know that I have many emails that have gone between me and my contacts,
but this search is not showing these results by listing them.

I've tried solving this by looking into the advice and options of,
http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2011/03/how_to_get_help.html
But couldn't find anything on this subject.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Anthony A

This uses the Spotlight cache files. Do you have any problems using the top
search box in Entourage?

Can you do this test?

1) Under File --> Export, select to export all items as Entourage archive
(.rge) file (turn off Sync Services in your main Identity)
2) Create a new Identity. (you can skip the setup account part)
3) Import the .rge file.
4) Turn on Sync Services and give Entourage a couple of minutes to create
new cache files. Now try Find related.

"~/Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage/2008/Test Identity"

Let me know what you find.
