I have a problem with changing data.
I work with access and write with VBA.
I wrote function that scan txt file and replace one word with anothet- for
example 'sky' for 'birthday'.

If the the the character is shorten 3 instead 8. at the end of the txt file
I have garbage.
because the file is short and small.

how can I fix that bug? I don't want to write it to other file.

It would help to see your code...

And if you used VBA, you should probably be asking in
microsoft.public.access.modulesdaovba, not here. Unlike the other Office
products, Access macros don't use VBA.
