The find command does not pull up information that I can
look and see that it is there.
History:
I have a database that tracks environmental findings for
my office. The form that allows you to navigate through
all the records has a find button on it. The find button
will find anything on the form. Later I split the form
information into 4 different tables. The Project table
with the initial project information, then three other
tables with the type of enviroment documents (CE,EA,
EIS). I then set up relationships one to one from the
form to each of the 3 tables. I also have a tracking log
that is set up to track dates action is taken, and that
looks off the project table as well. Each record has an
entry number in the table, then that same entry number
for the infomation in the corresponding table (CE, EA,
EIS). Sometimes there can be two documetations for each
record. So one entry in tblProject will have a record in
the ce table and the EIS table.
Problem:
When I go to find information on the form, that works
fine. When I try to search one of the three subforms
that holds the enviro data, find reports that there are
no records. I can go and look in the enivo document
table and see that that information is there. I have
find set so that all parts are matched and it is
searching in the subform, not a specific field. PLEASE
help me! I'm not sure what to do. All the tables have
entry numbers, I am just not sure what else could be
wrong!
Thank you
