I want to delete all the text between "Load Date" and 3 returns at the end of each article in a Nexis search. It looks like the following where "^P" is the invisible paragraph symbol: ^P

LOAD-DATE: June 15, 2008^P
^P
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH^P
^P
Copyright 2008 The Jerusalem Post^P^P^P

"LOAD-DATE:" is always at the end of the document but the date is variable - it could be any date (June 22, 1978). The "Jerusalem Post" could be he name of any newspaper or magazine - it could be "LA Times". I have over one hundred different articles from a multitude of sources and I need to delete the above text at the end of all the articles.

Record a macro to do that.

Begin by opening a document, then turn on the Macro Recorder.

GoTo the end of the document.

Search BACKWARDS for "LOAD DATE:"

Select the whole paragraph.

Hold down the Shift key and hit "End of Document" so everything including
the load date line is selected.

Hit Delete

Save the Macro.

You have to do all of this with keystrokes, because the macro recorder will
not record mouse movements. You can look up the keystrokes in the Help.

Cheers
