Find specific email with virus in pst file

My virus software has found a virus in one of my pst files. Of course it does
not specify which email, just the whole pst file. That file is big. Is there
any software or add ons that will help me quickly locate what email or emails
have have the virus.

Do I have any other options? The pst files has very important emails from
quite a ways back.

It didn't gave any indication of where it is located? No subject either?

I would start with emptying your Junk E-mail and Deleted Items folder. Most
likely you've recognized the message as useless before and dumped it
accordingly.

Otherwise;
Most virus scanners allow you to integrate it with Outlook. This way you can
locate the infected message. After this I would recommend disabling this
integration again as pretty much any implementation interferes with proper
send/receive functionality or corrupt messages beyond repair.

Also, it's actually safe to have a virus within a message. There is no way
that it can automatically execute anyway.

Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Archives\archive-household.pst Suspicious:
Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.gen 2

I will try what you suggested and then if it really can't do any damage I
will just let it alone.
