Finding a Posting

I posted a question last week. I was notified via email I have a reply, but
now I can't find the question to read the reply. I didn't write down the
exact subject line, so I can only search by words or a phrase I think I used.
I've looked through the postings list zeroing in on subject and again by
date. I've searched for any message with my user name and the result comes
up "nothing found".

Can anyone suggest an easy way to find a specific posting when one doesn't
know the exact subject line?

suggestions. (I presume where you typed "rondebruin" I would type my own

Yes, you selected the message I was looking for. I know that I can get
email notices when a question I post has a reply, but unfortunately, I'm not
at my own computer and the one I'm using is very restricted (by the company)
in allowing pop-ups and such. It doesn't always work for me to click the
link in my emails and get to where I want to go. I was looking for a
'cleaner' way to access my posted questions and replies. I'll try what Ron
de Bruin suggested. Thanks again.

Nope.

Ron has created an excel addin that can be used to search google.

You'd have to visit his site, grab the addin, install it and then use it in
excel.

Thank you. Unfortunately the company I work for will not allow anyone to
download anything from the internet to install on the PCs. I'll try another
option.
