Finding Address Book and messages for Microsoft Outlook

Olde Dad

I cannot locate the file or file folder containing my Address Book, or
Messages in Microsoft Outlook. These had been easy to locate for Outlook
Express, allowing me to back up the specific information, and move it from
computer to computer.
Because of the size of my Address Book (2,000 entries), and the number of
messages being saved, it had been recommended I shift to Outlook from Outlook
Express, but I am now unable to back up my info. I can't even switch back to
OE

Everything is located in your .PST file. Why is it recommended for you to
switch to OE from Outlook? What version of Outlook are you using?

All your Outlook data is held in a file called (usually) Outlook.pst. This
is a hidden file so you need to enable hidden files in your search.
An easier way is to download and install the free Outlook backup utility
from Microsoft.

Outlook has no Address Book as a separate file.

It's easy to locate in Outlook, too. Click File>Data File Managment and
look. See this:
