Finding and deleting data automatically

I have a spreadhseet withe names nad addresses I want to
do a mailing to. THe list contains zipcodes I do not want
to mail to. The list is too large for me to query each
entry and delete.

My questions is is there a way to do a search by zipcode
so I only pull from the list the names belonging to a
certain zipcode.

You should be able to use the Hlookup function or the
Vlookup function depending on how your sheet is set up, if
using a few zip codes you can use an OR function inside
the lookup function for up to 30 zip codes. You can also
use an IF function to do what you need.
