I'm building an application that will need to track Invoices (Receivables)
and Payments, and rather than reinvent a widely-used wheel from scratch, I'm
looking for design ideas that might be available. That is, I'm trying to
find examples of the tables, fields and their relationships that others have
used successfully.
I've looked at the Time and Billing template on the MS web site, and it's
got some useful design ideas, but it's Project-centered, instead of being
Invoice-centered. I'm not yet sure which is best for my database, and I'd
first like to find some other design examples before I try to make a
decision.
I don't even need the entire database - I'm primarily interested in the
table relationships showing the tables, fields and the relations between the
tables. Can anyone tell me where I could look to find other design examples
for a database that will handle Invoice/Receivables and Payments?
Thanks in advance.
