Finding .dotx in Word '08

In trying to convert my old .dot templates into the new .dotx format, I made an error. Now when I pull up Project Gallery and go to MY TEMPLATES, the erroneous templates show up. But when I search my Templates folder and do a Apple-F, the .dotx file is nowhere to be found (I want to delete it).

Hi Michael,

What templates folder are you searching? Office 2008 uses a different
template location from Office 2004--can you navigate directly there
instead of using Find, and see if that works?

UserName/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User Templates
